‘Eco-friendly’ en ‘eco-modern’ is het nieuwe motto van Bel Canto. Ook de Ci5 maakt hier gebruik van, volgens Bel Canto met de grootste dynamiek en de laagst mogelijke jitter, ruis en stroomverbruik.
Het bereik omvat 115dB en het ontwerp is gebaseerd op de DAC-schema’s van de door Bel Canto zelf ontwikkelde, ‘Two-Stage Master Reference Ultra-Clock’, digitaal naar analoog converters.
Er zijn vijf digitale ingangen, inclusief RCA, TOSLINK en 24/96 USB type. Het analoge deel bevat RCA en RCA phono MM ingangen. Het ‘all-steel’ chassis zorgt volgens Bel Canto voor een volledige resonantieonderdrukking. Het voorpaneel is voorzien van een multifunctionele knop, hiermee kunnen ingangen worden gekozen en het volume worden geregeld.
